I wear many hats in my professional pursuits, from writing about soil organisms, designing sustainable landscapes through my business Wildscape Gardens, or photographing happy people in the lush Pacific Northwest. I like to think there's a common theme: deepening connection to the natural world. The late, great poet, Mary Oliver, wrote that "to pay attention is our endless work," and I aim to make this simple act of observance define what I do.
